Health and Safety

When considering any work task, whether it be an actual job or even just a site meeting to scope a job, and to receive a brief outlining the customers problems or desired result, B 2 C staff’s default setting is first to think about the Health and Safety factors involved. (Please refer to our Company Health and Safety pack for more detailed information.) Where and if necessary and appropriate, B 2 C work in close collaboration with our professional partners in Structural Engineering, Fire Engineering and we also have our trusted sub-contract partners for Electrical, qualified and registered LBP’s and other technical services.

Qualifications

B 2 C is pleased to confirm that in our current staff compliment, the following qualifications are held:

  • Building Survey qualifications through NZIBS

  • IQP for BWOF

  • Plumber

  • Roofer

  • Drain layer

  • Glazier

  • Glass processor

  • Aluminium joinery fabricator

  • Aluminium joinery installer

  • Sika qualified Technical Trainer

  • Commercial doors installation and servicing

  • Accredited installers and inspectors of anchors and heights safety equipment

  • Fire door specialist installers and technical maintenance crew for BWOF etc.

Additional staff trade training

  • All B 2 C staff are Site Safe

  • 4 staff hold current Elevated Work Platform tickets

  • 2 staff members hold  forklift licenses

  • All staff have current drivers licenses

  • 1 staff member is qualified by Saint Johns in Advanced Life Saving

  • 4 staff hold heights and advanced heights tickets

  • Experienced in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement and have successfully introduced and implemented these principles in 5 Companies.

  • Sika Technical trainer of Industry Division sealants and adhesives, as well as construction chemicals

  • Resene - approved applicators in advanced surface protection systems

  • Stratmore – approved applicators for all products

  • Biosymph – approved applicators for all products

  • Specialist epoxy flooring installers

  • Specialist waterproofing technicians

  • Cladding experts, multiple systems and proprietary owners of Everclad and 4 D’s roll formed aluminium panels

  • Kevin has held senior roles with numerous reputable companies and has 38 years experience in general construction, specialized glazing and joinery fabrication, glass processing, glass bending, glass toughening, glass laminating, curtain walls, tinting etc. (Glasfit SA – National Franchise Manager; National Auto Glass SA – National Sales Manager; Africa Glass SA – National Technical Manager; Metro Glass NZ – Factory Manager; Glass Relate NZ – Factory Manager; Glasshape NZ – Factory Manager & Production Planner; Ullrich Aluminium NZ – National Sales Manager; Metal Concepts NZ – National Sales and Technical Manager; Total Group NZ – Sales Manager and Leak Investigator – Forensic troubleshooting of water ingress issues in NZ Buildings; Built 2 Code NZ – General Manager. (See CV for more detailed information) Currently completing a Diploma in Building Survey through NZIBS, and also completing a certificate to become an IQP in order to perform BWOFS for our clients.

  • Timothy is an NZ qualified plumber, and has successfully completed his apprenticeship through Laser Plumbing in Silverdale in: Plumbing, (including - drain laying and roofing) Timothy has worked for Laser Plumbing  for 7 years prior to joining B 2 C where he is a hands - on Operations Manager and Director.

  • Ashley has extensive experience working with roller doors and fire doors, curtains etc. (14 years with Metalbuilt prior to joining B2C), and he is one of our senior technicians
